If you drive to Ann Arbor, be aware that it can be difficult to find a parking spot on campus. There are several parking structures in town; the closest is the Maynard structure, approximately 3 blocks from the conference site. Alternatively, several park-and-ride lots are available. BY TRAIN
BY BUS
Within Ann ArborIf staying in the Central Campus area, all conference activities, restaurants, and bars are within walking distance. If staying outside the Central Campus area, there are local bus services available. The bus terminal is four blocks west of the conference center, and the fare to all destinations in Ann Arbor is $1 each way. Buses run from approximately 7 am until 10 pm, more or less depending on the route. Taxicabs can sometimes be found outside the Michigan Union, approximately three blocks south of the conference site. Otherwise, call one of our local cab companies about half an hour in advance.
If you need a late-night cab, AATA provides the Night Ride, an shared-ride taxi service for $3/person. They recommend that you allow at least an hour to complete your trip from the time you call. Night Ride operates from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday - Friday, and 7:00 pm to 7:30 am Saturday and Sunday. Simply call 734-528-5432. |
