Just few pictures I took in the forest on a bike / hike with Clare last weekend. Tried out my new Canon 760D. I am liking it very much. Did a combination of wide angle with my new 10-18mm lens as well as my 28mm F1.8 lens for some portrait practice. Note that the sign about the uses of the forest mentions DM, which is the currency used in Germany before the Euro was introduced in 2001. So I guess it is at least 20 years old :)

Well, windmills is a bit of a misnomer: wind turbines would be more accurate. Windmills is what they have in Holland (though very few of these were ever real mills: for the bulk of them, “windpumps” would be the proper name). Nice blog! I should some day revive my photo blog. Mine has been resting for two—soon three—generations of photo equipment (essentially since I went full frame…). :-)
Ha! Indeed. These wind turbines are not milling flour :) – I have too many EF-S lenses to go full frame. I am going to ride out the wave of Canon APS-C DSLRs I can find used until I am really forced to switch to something else.
